Face progress of 50 pounds down. May 2013 to March 2014. From 208 pounds to 158 pounds (5’5”). It is possible, you can do it. There are no quick fixes it is all about consistent life style changes. I was the girl who could barely run for a minute, now I can run for up to an hour. Hard work, dedication and patience will get you where you want to be. Patience is so important because results take time. I’m not quite there yet but I am so much closer then I ever imagined. Gym, run, bike, swim, dance - do what works for you but mix it up as your body will adjust to the same workout. Clean eating with lots of water and green tea. Don’t overly restrict yourself, eating too little will slow down progress. I typically workout between 4 and 6 times a week at the gym mostly doing 60% cardio, 40% strength training. Don’t be afraid of the weights room ladies, it works magic.
